Hugh Laurie wins again!

Hugh Laurie has won the Golden Globes award for best actor in a TV series - drama for the second year in a row. He is definitely the bestest British actor on TV, American or otherwise.

If you don't know Mr. Laurie, please look up House MD or Hugh Laurie on wwww.youtube.com. Or better yet, buy the series: House MD, you won't regret it. Excellent scripts, ensemble cast (Remember Robert Sean Leonard from Dead Poets Society?). Some of Mr Laurie's earlier work include A Bit of Fry and Laurie, Jeeves and Wooster, Fortysomething, and a memorable guest appearance on Friends.

(I have removed the video of Hugh Laurie and Hellen Mirren presenting at the 2006 Emmys because blogger requires a repost everytime I post a new item. This is highly annoying so from now on, I'll tell you how to find the video and you can check it out for yourself on youtube. The TV station that aired the Golden Globes has pulled Mr Laurie's 2007 acceptance speech from youtube, but you may still find his 2006 acceptance speech floating in cyberspace. It's also a riot. )
